OUR PROMISes

MEMORY IS THE STRENGTH OF NATURAL GRAINS

Our products use vegetables grown with heirloom seeds from conservatories or farmers:

  • Free: with no plant variety rights (PVR) and therefore part of humanity's heritage.

  • Reproducible: this means that these seeds can be planted, cultivated and harvested forever with their extraordinary multiplying power.

  • Resilient: their genetic richness gives them the capacity to adapt to climatic challenges.

  • Selected: naturally selected with the know-how of farmers and passed on from generation to generation.

Our products are grown in living soil. The soil is not a passive support but a complex ecosystem in which are living:

  • Macrofauna: Visible to the naked eye. Examples: earthworms, spiders, centipedes..

  • Mesofauna: Visible with a magnifying glass. Examples: mites, springtails...

  • Microflora and microfauna: Visible under a microscope. Examples: fungi and bacteria.

The work of all these little inhabitants guarantees fertile soil and a better concentration of vitamins and minerals in fruit and vegetables.

SOIL IS ALIVE

CULTIVATE WHILE PRESERVING

The vast majority of our vegetables are grown in permaculture, a way of operating that is inspired by nature and aims to reproduce a perennial and resilient ecosystem. For example:

  • Very little or no ploughing of the earth so as not to destroy soil life.

  • Soils covered with plants or straw to limit evaporation and protect it from UV rays. Bare soil is like a man without skin.

  • No synthetic inputs (e.g. chemical fertilisers, pesticides, insecticides, etc.).

  • Combinations of several plant varieties (flowers, vegetables, trees) as in a meadow or forest.

PREPARATION, CONDITIONING AND PACKAGING

We prepare our products leveraging on:

  • Vacuum and at low temperatures between 75°C and 90°C cooking methods, in order to preserve the nutritional (especially vitamins) and sensory properties. This cooking method makes it possible, among other things, to avoid oxidation of the food.

  • Lactofermentation to leverage on lactic acid bacteria that helps diversify and support the gut microbiome.

  • Dehydration at very low temperature (30 to 50°C) to preserve vitamins and other nutrients

Our product contains only natural ingredients (row material). Example:  vegetables, extra virgin olive oil, water and salt.

We package our products :

  • So that they can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 40 - 50 days or on the shelves

  • In glass jars (100% recyclable) that do not contaminate the contents. Our capsules are PVC free. The labels are made of recyclable paper without glue.
