We want to put biodiversity back onto our plates.
With 75% of biodiversity lost in 50 years, we want to revive edible plants that don't make it into mass distribution networks. Together with you, we want to preserve humanity's plant heritage.
It is this heritage that feeds people and animals.

AND THE NAME UMILE...?
Umile is both a male and female first name of Latin origin. Umile is also an Italian adjective meaning humble. Humble, Humility, Humanity, Humus all have the same etymology, from the Latin humus:
the earth.
This is Umile's fingerprint.
BEHIND THE SCENES OF UMILE
Umile was initially founded by Anne, Emanuela and Julien. Today, Umile is lead by a multicultural team full of hopes for the future.
We are passionate about nature, plants, healthy food and common good.
Most of the team live between the Jura mountains and Lake Geneva.
We want all to contribute meaningfully to biodiversity preservation and food transition by reconciling ecology and economy...
